baking purple

I made baked sweet potato (purple) fries this afternoon. Cut into strips and tossed in three different seasonings with oil: chili, italian herbs and the simple salt and pepper. 

I’ve heard of sweet potato butter, but I’m nowhere near ambitious yet. Either way orange or purple, you can’t go wrong with sweet potatoes. It’s all about rustic charm, proudly served on enamelware.
