book whore

Over the past few weeks this month I’ve been stressed out so much, it’s hard to find my head. Like a dark storm cloud collecting and holding up so much rain and travelling heavy, I’m almost ready to let all my weight fall and flood the ground.

Will be participating in the Monosylabik poster show, but I’m a bit uninspired at the moment. No, I think I’m just bored. I just don’t feel ‘lucky’—if that makes any sense. Maybe it’s pms.

Besides all the gloomy news, Jo gave birth to a baby girl and I think that’s probably the highlight of the month/year for me. I’m starting to read J.D. Salinger’s Catcher in the Rye but I have not finished some bestsellers and some well-known titles I picked up a year ago:

1. The Da Vinci Code
2. Memoirs of a Geisha
3. Tuesdays with Morrie
4. One the Road
5. Heavier than Heaven: A Biography of Kurt Cobain
(The first two I was bored, the third and fourth I was too busy and the last one I knew the ending)

So what does that say about me?

There’s a bowl of tom yam waiting for me downstairs and I’ll be visiting the children’s home soon. Here’s how the children’s library looks like (check out the former furry member of K.I.S.S.):
